During the process of implementing Alma, we encountered significant questions about how we would operate 1) Interlibrary loan services; 2) course reserves services; and 3) bookings for patron use of our Main Library’s group study rooms. This presentation outlines the problems that we faced in each of these three areas, along with the solutions that we developed to ensure a high quality of service after going live. The information from this presentation is intended to provide some insight into the process of implementing Alma from the perspective of an Access Services department and Alma early adopter institution. date: 2014-05-02 date_type: published full_text_status: restricted pres_type: paper event_title: ELUNA 2014 event_location: Montreal event_dates: April 29 - May 2, 2014 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE citation: Martin, Chris (2014) Navigating Alma Fulfillment Issues During the Implementation Process.
