The discussion will include how we identified ambiguous headings both across and within authority families and set only those UPD’s to “N”, resulting in the ability to avoid the “Haddock” problem. We will explore current strategies dealing with dynamic authority control and workflow issues. The presentation will conclude with an overview of what we consider to be the major remaining authorities problems. date: 2003-06-01 date_type: published full_text_status: public pres_type: paper event_title: North American Aleph User Group Fourth Annual Meeting event_location: Iowa City, Iowa event_dates: May 31 - June 2, 2003 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE citation: Card, Sandy and Andy, Perry (2003) Authorities: Boston to Iowa.
