Strategic partnerships between Ex Libris and major content providers have dramatically increased the depth and breadth of index coverage. Challenges still remain in ensuring that all subscribed and open access content is well represented in PCI, both from major content aggregators like EBSCO and smaller content providers. In this session, Ex Libris will provide an overview of PCI coverage, describe current efforts to maximize partnerships, and detail current processes for providing alternative coverage. ELUNA Steering Committee members Amira Aaron and Laura Morse will discuss options for libraries to advocate for change, individually and as part of the ELUNA community. An overview of current community work in this area, the NISO Open Discovery Initiative, will also be provided. date: 2015-05-06 date_type: published full_text_status: restricted pres_type: paper event_title: Ex Libris Users of North America 2015 Annual Meeting event_location: Minneapolis, MN event_dates: May 5-8, 2015 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE citation: Morse, Laura and Aaron, Amira and Kringle, Shlomi and Gindi, Michal (2015) Next Steps for Increasing PCI Coverage – How Libraries Can Help.
