abstract: CUNY is currently using Tableau's free public desktop software and web to share analyics data for the more than 20 libraries in the CUNY system.  This session will cover building a dashboard in Tableau which integrates data from multiple Ex Libris systems -- including Aleph, Primo, and SFX -- and other systems, such as CUNY Academic Works (Bepress Digital Commons platform) and Google Analytics.  Topics will include lessons and techniques learned in selecting and extracting the data, optimizing it for use and ease-of-update in Tableau.
