%T Acquisition Process for eBooks by Using Web Tools and OLCL API

%X This session demonstrates a php program which streamlines the acquisition and cataloging process for eBooks.  With an ISBN from each YBP order record, the program utilizes the OCLC API and File_MARC in order to search and bring in OCLC records, selects the best eBook record among them, and edits the record based on the copy-cataloging guidelines of the Library.   After updating holdings in OCLC, the record is saved with order information in a staging area for bulk import to Voyager.
