It is an app which allows patrons to check out items by themselves. We are using Alma at UML. Thus, for each library in Alma, a self-check "machine" was created. The generated certificates were sent to the vendor so that they can use stunnel to encrypt the communication between meeScan and Alma. We are the first academic library that has implemented this service.
