It is an app which allows patrons to check out items by themselves. We are using Alma at UML. Thus, for each library in Alma, a self-check "machine" was created. The generated certificates were sent to the vendor so that they can use stunnel to encrypt the communication between meeScan and Alma. We are the first academic library that has implemented this service. We would like to share our experience with other institutions. date: 2017-05-10 full_text_status: restricted pres_type: other event_title: ELUNA 2017 Annual Meeting event_location: Schaumburg, Illinois event_dates: May 10-12, 2017 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE citation: Xuan, Wei (2017) meeScan@umanitoba.
