This collaboration established a single search interface for all the university’s library collections. The MEC previously used Follett Destiny to manage their small collection of approximate 20,000 items housed in the School of Education. The Brooks Library staff, collaborating with the MEC staff, to independently conduct and complete the migration within eight months in 2016. The entire process of the migration including physical inventory, data cleanup, configuration and integration, data load, self-check machine set up, publishing Alma data to Primo, and project management will be briefly reviewed and systematically described. Lessons and experiences learned will be shared. date: 2017-05-10 full_text_status: restricted pres_type: other event_title: ELUNA 2017 Annual Meeting event_location: Schaumburg, Illinois event_dates: May 10-12, 2017 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE citation: Wheeler, Holly and Stephens, Karen and Blackson, Ginny and Bledsoe, Erin and Slaughter, Kerry and Spomer, Gavin and Carrothers, David and Fu, Ping (2017) Migration to Alma/Primo: A do-it-yourself project at Central Washington University.
