Collaborating with instruction librarians and user experience staff, we developed a Primo dashboard to facilitate the uncovering of relevant and reliable data. The dashboard has been key to an iterative process of connecting discovery data to our instruction program and user experience efforts. Our analysis and review of data from Primo Analytics included user testing with students to reveal additional insights. The data also provided evidence that helped guide improvements to our existing interface and our migration to the new UI. Attendees will receive electronic handouts of discussion guides for use with instruction librarians, scripts for student testing, and instructions for accessing our dashboard through Primo Analytics interface. date: 2017-05-11 full_text_status: restricted pres_type: other event_title: ELUNA 2017 Annual Meeting event_location: Schaumburg, Illinois event_dates: May 10-12, 2017 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE citation: Galvin, Mary and Kubly, Holly (2017) Primo Analytics use cases: Breaking down the silos between discovery services, instruction and user experience.
