abstract: In order to make Summon a single starting point for discovery for all Marist's resources, we took advantage of Summon's ability to ingest records in various formats including XML EAD. To make our archival collections discoverable through Summon, a web based tool to convert CSV format finding aids into XML EAD was developed. This homegrown "Boxbuilder" automated the conversion process via a simple interface. Over 70,000 records were loaded and over 36,000 digitized photos are viewable in Summon. The impact on the use of Archival resources will be discussed.
