The default set-up for Virtual Browse only includes print books, which resulted in a large portion of Northeastern’s library collection to not be viewed through this feature. The presentation will discuss the procedures involved in customizing and testing the Virtual Browse feature, including tips and best practices. It will also explain the normalization rules for those with a non-technical background. Lastly, it will discuss the limitations of the feature. date: 2017-05-11 full_text_status: restricted pres_type: other event_title: ELUNA 2017 Annual Meeting event_location: Schaumburg, Illinois event_dates: May 10-12, 2017 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE citation: Flachsbart, Kristin (2017) Judging an e-book by its cover: Virtual Browse for electronic resources.
