abstract: ELUNA Welcome & Opening Keynote:  The last two to three years have seen changes which have substantially reshaped the library technology industry.  Technology products and services for academic and research libraries are now increasingly offered through top-level companies with diverse portfolios of content, workflow, and technology components.   Breeding will give an overview of the current state of the industry based on data from his most recent “Library Systems Report” and “Library Automation Perceptions Surveys”.  The presentation will provide color and context for the position of Ex Libris in this new competitive environment.
