abstract: Materials are withdrawn from library collections for all sorts of reasons, but librarians generally like to track those withdrawals. What did we once have on the shelf or online? When was it withdrawn, and why? What information can we retain about it? This presentation covers multiple approaches to handling withdrawals in Alma, including pros and cons, accessing related acquisitions and loan information, and finding relevant data in Analytics. Some knowledge of Alma and Analytics is assumed, and production Alma sites are the primary audience, but sites in implementation might also find the content useful.
