One key finding then was that Summon’s Index Enhanced Direct Linking (IEDL) succeeded at finding full text 89% of the time, compared to 80% for the link resolver. Follow-up studies in 2017 showed improvement to 99% and 90%, respectively. In 2018, Ball State University migrated to Alma (from Symphony/Intota/360), while keeping Summon for discovery. How has this improved full-text discovery at Ball State? The presenter will redo his study with Summon over Alma and will share his results in Atlanta. date: 2019-05-02 date_type: completed full_text_status: restricted pres_type: other event_title: ELUNA 2019 Annual Meeting event_location: Atlanta, GA event_dates: April 29-May 3, 2019 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE citation: Hammons, Jim (2019) Summon over Alma and Access to Full Text.
