Our pilot project involves developing a suite of Python scripts for text data processing and analysis. Using these scripts requires no installation of any software or libraries, and the users need no previous knowledge of Python or any advanced computing skills. In our presentation, we will talk about the general concept of text analytics and the need for text analytics for researchers and librarians. We will also present the Python scripts we developed so far, along with their use cases. date: 2019-05-02 date_type: completed full_text_status: restricted pres_type: other event_title: ELUNA 2019 Annual Meeting event_location: Atlanta, GA event_dates: April 29-May 3, 2019 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE citation: Wang, Yongming (2019) Text Analytics with Python: a Case Study.
