abstract: The Virginia Community College System consists of 23 institutions with a combined 41 campuses. With only 2 librarians in the system office, and serious staffing shortages at all libraries, this presentation will outline what, in retrospect, were our biggest challenges, including: how what we didn't know hurt us, Course Reserve record migration, e-resource management & setup, configuring fulfillment rules, data cleanup, work orders, and converting Item Process Statuses to Alma.
