abstract: In this panel discussion, three different universities will discuss the work their libraries have done to improve identity management practices in their library systems including efforts to accurately reflect legal name changes, honor non-legal name preferences (especially for trans and non-binary students), and meet shifting state and federal requirements. The discussion will include challenges and opportunities for future work amidst constraints from current library, university, and identity management systems. Bring your questions for the panelists.
