All of our digital content - course papers, past exams, digitised books and photos and artefacts and videos - now sat in Alma Digital in derivative format. This presented us with new questions: What should stay in Alma-D? What should go into Rosetta, and how to we get the derivatives from Alma and the master files from our hard drives into Rosetta?
This presentation will cover how we tackled the move of files and metadata from Alma-D to Rosetta, using a combination of OAI harvesting, XSL transformers, Alma-Rosetta integration and the moral and technical support of the Rosetta community. The presentation will also cover how the technical specifications of both systems guided our decision making in the formation of our digitisation and digital preservation policies.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2019-05-02</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Conference or Workshop Item</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_1859"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_1859_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
