      "abstract": "This presentation will be about two Connecticut libraries\u2019 experiences using Alma\u2019s Shelf Report tool for inventory. One library is a regional campus library (Stamford Campus) of the University of Connecticut (UConn) with about 60,000 volumes. The other is a private liberal arts campus (Wesleyan University) with about 1 million volumes. We will explain the basics of using Shelf Report, including what categories of information are produced from the report, and the tool\u2019s capabilities and limitations.  \r\nUConn Stamford has been using Shelf Report for over one year after weeding consistently over the last several years and wanted to reconcile what is on the shelf with what is in the catalog.\r\nWesleyan\u2019s inventory pilot project was precipitated by the need for catalog clean-up. The process quickly expanded to include incremental weeding. We will discuss how we incorporated all of these streams into one workflow. \r\nThe program will discuss processes, procedures, and what each library has learned.",
