This session provides an overview of the Primo Implementation project for the Tri-Universities Group (TUG). It discusses the normalization rules in Primo for Voyager MARC data and the changes we made to accommodate local data within a shared consortial database. Specific examples will be used to show the normalization process. Attendees will learn issues relating to consortial data and to local data that include a variety of standards over time. Attendees will understand what it takes to manipulate normalization rules in Primo to massage their data for optimal output in the Primo front end. </mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">Primo</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2009-05-06</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Conference or Workshop Item</mods:genre></mods:mods>
