SFX requires its administrators to apply knowledge of acquisitions, serials, electronic resources, and user experience in a highly specialized environment. Few SFX Administrators have the luxury of attending to their organizations' installations full-time and as a result, specific tasks and local customizations that can optimize SFX for staff and users go undone. This session will outline strategies for managing HTML and Text Monthly Update Reports. The presentation will include an explanation of the differences between the reports, strategies for reviewing the text report, and methods for troubleshooting problems that occur after an update has been applied. date: 2009-05-06 full_text_status: restricted pres_type: speech event_title: ELUNA 2009 event_location: Richmond, Va. event_dates: 6-8 May 2009 event_type: conference refereed: FALSE citation: Miller, Sarah (2009) Strategies and Methods for Administering SFX: Managing Monthly Update Reports.
