abstract: The Iowa State University (ISU) Library is working with a company called ThickStat to develop smart assistant technology in the form of an Amazon Alexa skill and also a mobile application that uses the Primo Search API to perform searches by title, author, or subject. This session will present information learned so far in the ISU project. A live demonstration of the smart assistant technology will be provided as part of this session. Information for how other Primo users can replicate the ISU work will also be provided.
