abstract: Margery Tibbetts, Technical Project Manager, California Digital Library (CDL).

The California Digital Library implemented direct linking in Jan 2009. This presentation will discuss the usability studies which were done before and after the implementation of direct linking. It will also cover some of the problems we uncovered during the implementation and what we are doing to resolve them and what our plans are to uncover new problems when publishers upgrade their platforms.
