Problems in ALEPH can often be diagnosed by analyzing log files. By monitoring log files, we can sometimes identify problems before they affect our users. My session will focus on using simple tools like 'grep' to analyze contents of log files. Some familiarity with Unix will be useful, advanced expertise not required.
