This session will detail the steps necessary to migrate an existing SFX installation to a new server and set up the old server to serve as a test installation. TAMU Libraries has recently completed such a migration and will be sharing its experiences. TAMU is a multi-instance, consortial SFX setup, which provided interesting challenges during the process, as did the migration from a Solaris to a Linux system. Audience members will receive how-to instructions, including a sample migration script, and tips on pitfalls to avoid. </mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">SFX</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2009-05-09</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Conference or Workshop Item</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_250"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_250_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
