      "abstract": "Michael Lampley, Serials Librarian, Texas Christian University; Nancy Gibbs, Head, Acquisitions Department, Duke University.\r\n\r\nThis is a brainstorming session where the participants draw from their practical experience using serials modules to create from scratch their fantasy serials module. Part one will focus on the life-cycle of an issue from the mail table through to the bound shelf. We\u2019ll look at the support operations such as claiming, binding, and statistics among others. Part two looks more toward the acquisitions side including ordering, budgets, and incorporating vendor products and other third party programs with an eye toward the transfer of data between these products while eliminating dual entry problems.",
