It will describe the need which the persistent URL creator is meant to fill as well as the design decisions and basic functionality of the end product. The poster will be structured to present information pertinent to basic SFX users as well as more advanced users. The audience should learn specifically how to implement a persistent URL creator at their own institution and more generally some of the issues surrounding persistent URL linking.
