The Triangle Research Libraries Network, of which Duke University is a member, is working on an Endeca-based faceted-browsing interface to the combined holdings of the member libraries, based on the work done by North Carolina State University. As part of this project, Duke is developing a replacement OPAC interface using both Endeca and ALEPH as data sources. Ken Mitchell and Gwyneth Duncan will highlight important technical aspects of this project, focusing on the data transfer from ALEPH to Endeca and the development of an interface using Endeca's APIs and the ALEPH X-Server. date: 2008-08-01 date_type: published full_text_status: restricted pres_type: speech event_title: ELUNA 2008 event_location: Long Beach, Ca. event_dates: 30 July - 1 August 2009 event_type: conference refereed: FALSE citation: Duncan, Gwyneth and Mitchell, Ken (2008) Using ALEPH and Endeca to Develop a User Interface at Duke University.
