%X Gwyneth Duncan (Duke University).    Batch updates of the sub-library, collection, call number type and call number fields must deal with both holdings and item records. Sometimes a new holdings record must be created. This session describes a batch process for doing this, using Perl scripts and standard ALEPH services.
