abstract: Texas A&M University is in the process of setting up an SFX failover server that can be used in case of outage to the production server. The Library is planning on keeping this failover database up to date using MySQL replication techniques. The presenter will outline the initial setup for the failover database, detail the special settings that support the replication process, and describe the technique used locally to quickly move the production interface from one machine to another.
