While we were working on the move to the cloud, we also started our implementation of Primo. With so many projects going on at the same time, we had to involve a large group from across the library in order to get Primo live by the start of the fall semester. In this presentation we will talk about how we organized the overall project in coordination with the move of our other systems, the tasks involved, our customizations for the user interface and the Back Office, marketing and publicity considerations, training, and what we’ve learned from usability testing. We will also discuss what proceeded as planned, problems and issues that arose, and give suggestions so others can learn from our experiences. date: 2012-05-10 date_type: published full_text_status: restricted pres_type: lecture event_title: ELUNA 2012 event_location: Salt Lake City, Utah event_dates: May 9-11, 2012 event_type: conference refereed: FALSE citation: Montgomery, Kate and George, Gena (2012) Implementing Primo: a Holistic Approach.
