abstract: American University has transitioned from Blackwell, to Coutts, and most recently to Yankee Book Peddler in setting up shelf-ready workflows, using EOD and EDI through vendors’ online ordering systems. In Acquisitions, streamlining workflows is critical to controlling would-be chaos. This presentation will demonstrate how we've navigated these different vendors' online ordering systems, and have convinced the vendors to adapt to our workflows, rather than having to tailor our workflows to them.
